Chennai's SA Engineering College to conduct seminar on smart grid technologies

SA Engineering College

, Chennai, will conduct an international seminar on ‘Smart grid technologies and applications’ on Friday. Managing director of G K Power Expertise Pvt Ltd, Chennai, Govindan Selvam will deliver a speech at the event.

The seminar, being organized by the department of electrical and electronics engineering, will begin at 9.30am.

Post lunch, the college management is hosting an alumni interaction programme on ‘Challenges and opportunities in the corporate world’ where the college alumni will be sharing their experience.

On Thursday, Vijeendra Nadgir, manager product, Caterpillar Inc, Chennai, interacted with students of the college as part of his talk on ‘Measurements and Instrumentation.’

About 120 students participated in the lecture programme.
