CHENNAI: Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Chennai’s Ashok Nagar on Friday conducted an ‘exam festival’ to reduce anxiety of students who are going to appear for exams and to motivate them to prepare better for exams.
The festival included a motivational speech by actor Dhamu, cultural programmes and pep talk by teachers. The teachers told the students about higher education opportunities and the importance of scoring well in exam.
Actor Dhamu addressing the students "Around 2,200 students studying in Classes X, XI and XII participated in the motivational programmes. The teachers arranged biryani for the students," said school headmistress R Thamilarasi.
