10 tonnes of waste removed from beach
GCC commissioner Dr J Radhakrishnan, who inspected the beach, said despite keeping 58 bins and telling people to throw waste in the bins, people still littered.
“We also conducted a vacant plot garbage and debris removal drive,” he added.
