Case filed against TTV supporters

CHENNAI: Police on Friday filed a case against supporters of TTV Dinakaran for allegedly giving death threats to an independent candidate when he was campaigning in RK Nagar.

was canvassing for votes near the MGR statue on Mannappan Street.

According to Gandhi, TTV's supporters confronted him for interfering in their campaigning and made death threats and threw soda bottles at him. Based on his complaint, Korukkupet police have a filed a case against five of

TTV

supporters under relevant sections of the IPC.
