BJP’s Annamalai calls protests diversionary tactics

Chennai: BJP state president K Annamalai on Thursday defended Union home minister Amit Shah, calling the protests by INDIA bloc parties a "diversionary tactic".Annamalai said on X, "After being exposed by our Hon PM Thiru @narendramodi avl and Hon HM Thiru @AmitShah avl in Parliament for how the Congress party and their alliance partners treated our constitution in the past and meant only disrespect for Babasaheb Ambedkar during his lifetime, the INDIA alliance resorted to diversion tactics to erase their past being exposed to the people of our country." BJP spokesman A N S Prasad said, "The Congress and its allies, including DMK, have resorted to malicious and well-planned conspiracy to discredit and malign Amit Shah, driven by their relentless hatred and desperation to undermine the Modi govt. Their sole intention is to tarnish Amit Shah's reputation and bring him down."tnn
