Big shuffle of police officers

Chennai: The 2003-batch IPS officer R Sudhakar is the new additional commissioner of the Chennai traffic police, and 2004-batch IPS officer Asra Garg is the additional commissioner of north Chennai.In a major shuffle on Friday, 25 other IPS police officers were also transferred with immediate effect. Director-general of police (DGP) Braj Kishore Ravi is the new vigilance officer of the TANGEDCO, replacing DGP K Vanniyaperumal, who is posted as DGP of the civil supplies CID.DGP Rajeev Kumar is posted as DGP training, Police Training College, Chennai. ADGP B Bala Naga Devi is posted as head of the economic offences wing CID unit and ADGP Abhin Dinesh Modak is thed new chief of the state crime record bureau (SCRB). Vinit Dev Wankhede is posted as ADGP, administration.Inspector-general of Police (IGP) N Kamini is appointed Tiruchi city police commissioner and IGP K Bhavaneeshwari is posted as IGP, west zone. IGP M Sathiya Priya is appointed IGP of the EOW-CID wing, and N Z Asiammal is posted as IGP, headquarters, in Chennai.IGP J Loganathan is posted as Madurai city police commissioner and IGP K S Narenthiran Nayar is posted as the IGP, of the south zone and IGP Santhosh Kumar is posted as IGP of vigilance and anti-corruption.Additional commissioner of police Kapil Kumar C Saratkar is posted as additional commissioner of police, headquarters, IGP K Joshi Nirmal Kumar is posted as IGP, Tamil Nadu Police Academy, and IGP M V Jaya Gauri is posted as IGP, armed police. A Kayalvizhi is posted as the joint commissioner of police, headquarters, and B Shamoondeshwari is posted as joint commissioner, north Chennai. DIG RV Ramya Bharathi is posted as the Madurai range DIG and R Ponni is appointed as DIG, Kancheepuram range.
