Beela Rajesh appointed new energy secretary

Chennai: The state government on Monday undertook a minor shuffle and posted commissioner of land reforms Beela Rajesh as the secretary of energy department. Beela will replace Ramesh Chand Meena, who has been posted as the secretary of special initiatives department, under finance minister Thangam Thennarasu. The post of secretary of special initiatives department has been created on a temporary basis for one year with effect from the date of appointment of secretary or till the need for it ceases. The department was carved out of the planning, development and special initiatives department, for which Vikram Kapur is the secretary. The managing director of small industries corporation S Vijayakumar has been posted as chairman and MD of Tamil Nadu Urban Infrastructure Financial Services Ltd. He will replace S Swarna who has been appointed as MD of Small Industries Corporation. Tiruvannamalai additional collector (DRDA) Veer Pratap Singh has been posted as joint commissioner(intelligence), commercial taxes, Chennai. Sericulture director J Vijaya Rani has been posted as additional registrar of cooperative societies. MD of Tamil Nadu Energy Development Agency Asia Mariam has been posted as director of minorities welfare. Joint director of rural development and panchayat raj Chandra Sekhar Sakhamuri has been posted as sericulture director. Deputy secretary of animal husbandry and fisheries Ranjeet Singh has been posted as additional collector (DRDA) of Nagapattinam. P Alarmelmangai, additional collector (District Rural Development Agency) of Coimbatore district, has been posted as additional collector (DRDA) of Salem district. Director of minorities welfare S Suresh Kumar, who was CEO of Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board as an additional charge, has been posted as CEO of the Tamil Nadu Khadi and Village Industries Board.
