lyricist Vairamuthu’s comments on Hindu deity Andal, on Tuesday said that his protest will continue till the poet comes to Srivilliputhur and apologises.

said.

Earlier, the editor of the Tamil daily that published the essay in which Vairamuthu made the controversial remark on Andal, arrived in Srivilliputhur and tendered his apology to the Ramanuja Sadagopar. The seer accepted the apology. However, the mutt head said he would continue his protest till Vairamuthu apologises in person.
