Kollywood actor Vikram's daughter Akshita lost her diamond ring worth Rs 12 lakh when she visited an ice cream parlour on the Khader Nawas Khan Road in Chennai on Tuesday.

CHENNAI: Kollywood actor Vikram's daughter Akshita lost her diamond ring worth Rs 12 lakh when she visited an ice cream parlour on the Khader Nawas Khan Road in Chennai on Tuesday.
She was recently engaged to Manu Ranjith, the great grandson of DMK leader M Karunanidhi.
Police said Akshita went to the parlour with her friends on Tuesday afternoon. When she returned to her car, Akshita noticed that her ring was missing.

Based on her complaint, the Thousand Lights police registered a case. They collected the CCTV footage from the parlour and verified it.
Further investigations were on.
