23-yr-old devotee electrocuted at temple festival

Kallakurichi: A 23-year-old devotee was electrocuted when he accidentally came in contact with a live electric wire in the temple car during a procession at annual Ayyanar Temple festival in a village near Ulundurpet in Kallakurichi district. The deceased was identified as K Pachaiappan, a resident of Kilapalayam village near Ulundurpet. The Ulundurpet police rushed to the spot, recovered the body, and sent it to the government hospital for a postmortem examination. TNN
