2-yr-old dies after dad accidentally drops water can in Chennai

CHENNAI: A two-year-old girl died after her father who was carrying a water can slipped and fell on her at their house in Thoraipakkam on Thursday.
Police said the incident took place when the child, Ramya, was playing on the floor. Her father Rajamani was carrying a water can and was going to the kitchen when he slipped and fell down on his daughter, apparently dropping the water can on her head.
Rajamani who supplies water can in the locality was unloading the goods, police said. Ramya, who sustained serious injuriesk was rushed to a where she died without responding to the treatment. Thoraipakkam police have registered a case.
