Youth beaten to death with brick at Adampur railway station

Hisar: A youth was allegedly murdered after being attacked with a brick at Platform No. 1 of Adampur railway station, Hisar, police said. Based on a complaint filed by the deceased's younger brother Ashok Kumar, Pradeep — a resident of Indira Colony in Adampur — left home on April 29 to take up painting work in Modakhera village but did not return. The family conducted a search but could not locate him.On April 30, a neighbour, Mangeram, informed the family that Pradeep's body was lying at Adampur railway station. Ashok rushed to the spot and found his brother's body on a platform near a tree. The victim had severe head injuries, and a blood-stained brick with strands of hair was found nearby. The Govt Railway Police (GRP) has registered a case under Section 103 (murder) of the BNS against unidentified persons and initiated an investigation.MSID:: 130678257 413 |
