Yadon ki kasak: Tribute to legends

CHANDIGARH: Senior citizens will get a chance to relive their good old days with "Yadon Ki Kasak", an annual event organized by Chandigarh Sangeet Natak Akademi in their honour.
This will be the sixth annual programme based on songs of legendary singers like K L Saigal, Pankaj Mullick, Talat Mahmood, Rafi, Mukesh, Kishore Kumar, Asha Bhosle, Lata Mangeshkar, Noor Jahan, Geeta Datt, Hemant Kumar, Jagjit Singh, among others.
This year, songs will be sung by senior as well as upcoming artists in the memory of legends who died in 2011 - Jagjit Singh, Bhupen Hazarika, Shammi Kapoor and Dev Anand.
"Yadoon Ki Kasak" programme will be presented today at Tagore Theatre in Sector 18, Chandigarh, at 6:30pm.
