Women artists honoured

CHANDIGARH: On the eve of International Women's Day, Dolly Ahluwalia, Sangeeta Gupta, Jaskanwaljit Kaur and Pam Rajput were honoured for their contributions in the field of art.
Ahluwalia, costume designer, film and television actress; Gupta, theatre artist and director; Jaskanwaljit Kaur, visual artist, and Pam Rajput, former professor of Panjab University and social activist, have been contributing to the development of society.
Rama Vij, actress, and Harjinder Kaur, SAD councillor, felicitated them at Punjab Kala Bhawan auditorium.
Women empowerment committee, municipal corporation, in collaboration with Punjab Arts Council, had organized the
function.
