Woman murdered by husband in Karnal

CHANDIGARH: In a shocking incident, a young woman was brutally murdered by her husband at their residence in Sham nagar area of

Karnal City

on Tuesday night.

With stab injuries covered with the vest tied over the body lying in the pool of blood, Seema, the victim was found lying dead in the room on Wednesday morning.

According to information, her husband slept with her dead body in the night and managed to escape before her parents could reach.

police has booked Raja in a murder case registered against her at

City Police

station.

DSP City, Vivek Chaudhary said that police parties are conducting raids to arrest Raja. Meanwhile, Seema’s dead body has been handed over to kins after the postmortem examinations.

According to information, Seema had married to Raja after running away from home in Bihar. Couple was living Karnal and were working as daily wagers. They had a two and half year old daughter as well.

Police said that Raja used to suspect Seema about her charactor and the couple would often had an argument. On Tuesday evening too the couple had an argument and Seema had called her younger sister while suspecting that her husband might kill her.

Victim's father Sita Ram said that soon after recieving the call, the family started for Karnal. They found Seema lying dead and her daughter was sitting near her. While Raja had escaped.
