Hisar: In a shocking case reported from the Uklana police station area, Hisar police have arrested a 26-year-old woman from Bithmara village for allegedly plotting her husband's murder. An illegal country-made pistol and two live cartridges were recovered from her possession.
According to police, accused Suman — a mother of two daughters — was allegedly involved in an extramarital relationship with a youth from the same village. Preliminary investigation revealed that she procured the weapon from her acquaintance with the intention of killing her husband, Sonu Kumar.

Police officials said they received specific information about a serious dispute between the couple, which escalated to the point of a planned attack. Acting on the tip-off, a police team apprehended the woman before she could execute the alleged plan.
During questioning, it emerged that Suman reportedly left her home on Feb 6 without informing family members and returned on Feb 9. The weapon was allegedly given to her by Nandlal, a daily wage labourer from the village. Police said the accused concealed the pistol in a black polythene bag and hid it under her shawl while allegedly waiting for an opportunity to carry out the crime.
A case was registered under relevant provisions of law, and the accused was produced before a local court, which remanded her to judicial custody. Further investigation is underway.
