CHANDIGARH: The Indian Meteorological Department, Delhi on Wednesday issued weather information for Shri Amarnath Ji Yatra to help the travelers keep a track of the weather conditions.
The information given by the department includes special weather advisory for Amarnath ji yatra for both the routes which is valid for 24 hours, past 24 hours weather observations, value added nowcast and special nowcast warning for Jammu, Udhampur to Batote, Batote to Banihal, Banihal to Khanbal, Khanbal to Pahalgam, Pahalgam to Holycave, Khanbal to Srinagar, Srinagar to Sonmarg and Sonmarg to Holycave, Current weather observations and seven day forecast for Jammu and Kashmir Division.

As per the forecast in Jammu Division the weather would be partly cloudy on June 21 and generally cloudy on June 22 and 23. On June 24 there will be a possibility of light rain and thunderstorm where as on June 25 there would be light rainfall followed by a partly cloudy sky on June 26. On June 27 the sky would mainly be clear.
In Kashmir Division the Sky would be partly cloudy on June 21 and mainly clear on June 22 and 23. On June 24, 25, 26 the sky would be partly cloudy and on June 27 the sky would be generally cloudy.
No warnings have been issued by the department for next seven days. The information is also available on the IMD website www.imd.gov.in.
