Warrior Moms write to FM for cheap LPG

Bathinda: Warrior Moms – a collective of mothers fighting for children’s right to breathe clean air – have written to Union finance minister Nirmala Sitharaman demanding provisions in the Union budget 2023-24 to make LPG affordable to poor households across India. The letter has been endorsed by MPs Shashi Tharoor, Farooq Abdullah, Varun Gandhi and Maneka Gandhi among others. Senior advocate and former justice Anjana Prakash and social activist Aruna Roy have also endorsed the letter. tnn
