CHANDIGARH: On its sixth day, TOI's 'Rise Up' campaign reached Sector 17 plaza where 400 people pledged to vote this Lok Sabha elections.
From youth to elderly, everyone came forward to support the campaign on Monday. Voters put forth the issues that should be addressed - from making city safe for women to a corruption-free India, their list was long.

The excited voters filled the board: "Let's kick the corrupt out", "Use your power, use your right, vote itself says V-victory, O-of, T-The, E-Entity", "Vote for the right candidate who will fulfill all the needs" and "Make India corruption-free and feel proud", among others.
Sujith Menon, 26, wrote, "Don't be a Pappu, just go out and vote". "Youngsters should come out and cast their vote. I will also vote and use my right efficiently," he said. Gazal Preet, 18, said, "I will support the candidate who promises to make the city safe for women." Till date, 3,500 people have signed the TOI campaign.
