Villagers seek action against Dy CM Dushyant

JIND: Villagers of Chhatar village, including farmers and khap leaders, have given an ultimatum to Haryana police to take action against deputy chief minister Dushyant Chautala by June 1, and also carried out a procession against him. A couple of days back, elderly women from the village were detained by the police while they were going to raise their issues before deputy CM Dushyant Chautala.Villagers have alleged that police kept the women in illegal custody for around five hours, and their mobile phones were also snatched. To protest against such ill-treatment, several villagers, Kandela khap leaders and farmers under Sanyukt Kisan Morcha had gathered at tehsil premises of Uchana segment.
Villagers stated that a complaint has been filed against Dushyant Chautala and officials who detained the women, but no action has been taken so far.
