Villager 'brutally murdered' for illicit relations

BADHANI KALAN, Moga: A resident of Buttar Kalan village Baljit Singh was brutally murdered by the kin of his beloved.
The deceased, father of four children, was allegedly found in a compromising position with his beloved by one of her family members. A case of murder has been registered at Badhani Kalan police station.
It is learnt that Baljit had illicit relations with a married woman of the same village who was also his relative.On Thursday he was detected in the company of the woman in her house by one of her family members.
Though he escaped but on Friday the woman''s kin waylaid him near a religious place in the village. First he was attacked with sharp edged weapons and then the assailants smashed his genitals killing him on the spot.
