Union minister Tokhan Sahu stated, "There are a lot of bad effects of the smog and it is also seen that stubble burning is one of the main reasons behind it. I have come to Moga today."

"I was delighted that there is a bellar machine here to gather the stubble, bundle it and send it further. This can help stop the smog. I want to request all farmers to not burn the stubble," said Sahu.
