Uniform soon, no casual wear for health staff
Chandigarh: Haryana home, health and family welfare minister Anil Vij on Friday announced that the dress code will now be applicable for all staff (medics, paramedics and others) working in government health facilities of Haryana. Now, it will be mandatory for every employee to wear proper uniform.Vij said the design was in the final stage. Vij said jeans of any colour, denim skirts and dresses are not permitted. Sweatshirts, sweat suits, shorts are not permitted. Slacks, dresses, skirts and palazzos will not be permitted. T-shirts, stretch shirts/pants, fitting pants, leather pants, capri, sweatpants, tank tops, see through dress/top, crop top, off shoulder dresses, sneakers and slippers are not permitted. Footwear must be black, clean, comfortable and free from funky designs, he added. tnn
