<div class="section1"><div class="Normal">FARIDKOT: In its state committee meeting held here on Tuesday the United Communist Party of India (UCPI) resolved to support the candidates of Congress and its allies in Punjab during ensuing parliamentary elections. <br /><br />All India general secretary of the party Sukhinder Singh Dhaliwal said that this decision had been taken to ensure defeat of BJP-SAD alliance in the state.
Dhaliwal rued that the state leadership of the Congress and communist parties failed to knit a secular front in Punjab against the BJP-SAD led communal forces.<br /><br />Dhaliwal told that senior party leaders had been deputed to lead the campaign in different constituencies in the state. <br /><br /><formid=367815></formid=367815></div> </div>
