Time to become a shooting star
Chandigarh: At a time when everyone seems to be clicking pictures from their cell phones, there are people who still believe in the old way of carrying a camera on shoulder. For such shutterbugs, who also happen to be lovers of architecture, The Times of India is bringing a two-day ‘Architectural Photography Trail' on March 12 and 13.
During the event, participants will be taken on a photography tour to city's two important landmarks — Nek Chand's Rock Garden and the secretariat building in Capitol Complex.

While the Rock Garden is all about amazing sculptures made of waste, the secretariat building is an architectural marvel designed by master architect Le Corbusier.
The first day of the trail will start with a session on introduction to architectural photography. This session will be conducted by Ajay Sood, a travel photographer and writer.
The session will be followed by a field shoot at Rock Garden and the secretariat building.
On the second day, a session will be held on processing and feedback on images.
Sood has led photo tours to Tanzania, Goa and Ladakh and has conducted specialized master classes on travel, fashion and architectural photography at numerous venues across the country.
