The ‘tender side of concrete’ on display at government museum

Times News NetworkChandigarh: On the occasion of World Heritage Day, Government Museum and Art Gallery organised an exhibition of photographs called, “Tender Concrete.” The exhibition showcased 16 black and white photographs of Brutalist Architecture from iconic buildings like Tower of Shadows, Museum and Art Gallery, Mill Owners’ Association Building, Institute of Indology, Indian Institute of Management, National Institute of Immunology and Panjab University. Architectural details from the works of well-known architects Le Corbusier, Louis Kahn, Raj Rewal and Balkrishna Doshi have been captured, highlighting the interplay of light and shadow.
