Tejinder Singh Chouhan, the mastermind behind this creation, has been crafting Ravana idols since 1987. He holds numerous accolades, including five entries in the Limca Book of Records and two Guinness World Records. Speaking to ANI, Chouhan expressed his excitement about the opportunity to build the world's tallest Ravana in Panchkula. The project was assigned to him on behalf of the Mata Mansa Devi Charitable Trust.

Using velvet cloth, Chouhan and his team meticulously crafted the Ravana effigy. To ensure a grand finale, the effigy is equipped with 12 electric points controlled by a remote. When activated, the effigy will be engulfed in flames from the crown to the stomach.

Vijaya Dashmi or Dussehra, which falls on October 24 this year, signifies the victory of good over evil. It commemorates Lord Rama's triumph over Ravana. As Navratri enters its ninth day, devotees across the country are immersed in the joyous celebrations.
