Students from region visit NIPER

CHANDIGARH: As part of the national agenda, National Technology Day-2011 was celebrated on Wednesday at the National Institute of Pharmaceutical and Education Research (NIPER). About 150 students from classes X-XII from a number of schools across the region participated in the event.
Students visited the laboratories to get first hand information about the latest scientific developments.
They were taken to central instrumental lab, computer labs, nano technology labs and technology developments centre to make them familiarized with technology development activities of the institute. Working of the instruments was demonstrated. Dr Sanyog Jain, faculty in centre of nano technology, delivered a lecture.
