Sources said that during interrogation, Ravinder told the police about the ATM of Punjab National Bank. On October 15, the four accused had used gas cutters to break into the ATM kiosk. They had then used a towing vehicle to escape with the machine towards Morni.

At Morni, cops said the accused used a hammer to break the machine and remove the cash and then disposed of the machine by pushing it down the ditch.
