Sports, cultural event held at Sri Guru Gobind Singh College-26

CHANDIGARH: Sri Guru Gobind Singh College, Sector 26, Chandigarh organised “Lishkara 2023,” a two-day sports and cultural extravaganza which concluded with a “star evening” featuring popular singer Jass Bajwa. Comedian Gurpreet Ghuggi, Punjabi actress Neeru Bajwa and renowned singers and actors Kulwinder Billa and Jass Bajwa enthralled the students with their performances.

UT mayor Anup Gupta was the chief guestS. Joint commissioner, MC Paviter Singh and Dinesh Sharma, area councillor were the guests of honour. Principal Dr Navjot Kaur inaugurated the event. She emphasised the importance of sports in holistic development of students. Day 2 included several cultural events like singing competition, poetry recitation etc. tnn
