'Sodomized' schoolboy medically examined

ROHTAK: The 12-year-old private school student in Rohtak who attempted suicide on Tuesday and had written a note blaming his classmates for sodomizing him was medically examined on Wednesday. Police said that action would be taken against the accused only after the report. The accused aged 12-13 years old were interrogated by district child protection officer.Rohtak SP Vivek Sharma said that a case has been registered under Section 377 of IPC.
Meanwhile, the school remained shut on Wednesday and the authorities lodged a complaint against family of the victim who protested in the school on Tuesday. School authorities claimed that the family assaulted the staff members and damaged furniture.
A case under sections 341 (wrongful restraint), 452 (house trespass) 148, 149, (rioting), 506 (criminal intimidation) and 427 (damaging property) has been registered against the family members.
