Six booked for tampering Trust's books
Seven persons were booked under a fraud and cheating case for tampering with the books of Kalpana Chawla Memorial Society.
Cases were against against Vipin Kaushal, Pawan Kaushal, Madhu Kaushal, Neelam Kaushal, Chandigarh residents, and Pankaj Bajaj, Shridhar Bajaj andRashmi Bajaj of New Friends Colony, New Delhi, for committing fraud in accounts of the educational society.
SHO, Rajpura (Sadar), Sanjeev Singla said the cases were registered after detailed inquiry. Meanwhile, the name of additional registrar of societies, Mohali, has also been mentioned in the case and a detailed inquiry will also be conducted by police to ascertain if role in the cheating case.
