Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee to expand Sikh museum

AMRITSAR: The AkalTakht has asked ShiromaniGurdwaraParbandhak Committee (SGPC) to expand the Central Sikh Museum and give it a modern look. AkalTakhtjathedarGianiGurbachan Singh held a meeting with SoumitraGhosh of Art and Craft, Delhi, to discuss the expansion plan. Gurbachan Singh said the Sikh clerics had in principal directed the SGPC to expand the museum."It will have multimedia system and state of the art technology available in museums world over, the building will be air-conditioned and every latest technology will be adopted to preserve the priceless paintings and artefacts".
