Sex ratio up in Fatehabad dist

Hisar: In recognition of efforts to improve the child sex ratio, the Haryana govt's department of women and child development has honoured district attorney Devender Kumar Mittal for his significant contribution in Fatehabad. According to the citation issued by the department, Mittal played a key role in raising the district's sex ratio at birth to 961 in 2025 through effective implementation of the ‘Beti Bachao Beti Padhao' scheme. Under Mittal's leadership, the district witnessed a positive shift in its demographic indicators.
