Sources said the walkie-talkie sets, on which messages were being flashed, failed to transcript the registration number of the vehicles of the accused. The assailants even dared the guards with sickles and iron rods, making their way from gate number-1. A guard said: "As we received a message that violence had erupted, we immediately closed one side gate, but in the meantime, assailants threatened us to give them way, and they also hit one of the guards."
The second violence, which took place near the PU Health Centre , also occurred beside a PU police post. DSP (central) Ashish Kapoor said: "Three incidents took place in different locations, and all efforts were made immediately to track the accused, who will be arrested shortly."
When the SHO of PS-11, Malkit Singh, was asked why they did not take action against a complaint filed in connection with an attack on the car of GGSU leader, Harman Virk, Singh, he said: "The complainant had agreed to a discussion with the opposite party on Thursday."
