Saru Rana impleaded in case against V-C

chandigarh: justice m l singhal of the punjab and haryana high court on wednesday allowed the plea of saru rana, a fine arts student of the punjabi university, patiala, to be impleaded as a party to the bail application of dr jasbir singh ahluwalia, the vice-chancellor of punjabi university. saru rana and her parents were present in court when her counsel requested that she too be made a party to the case.on april 1, justices g s singhvi and m m kumar had accepted her plea made against the writ petition preferred by dr ahluwalia seeking the quashing of the fir and the subsequent proceedings in the case.
