Ruling brings hope to GirhotrA
CHANDIGARH: Welcoming the decision of Ghaziabad court rejecting CBI's closure report and directing trial against Aarushi Talwar's parents for their alleged involvement in the murder, Ruchika's father Subhash Girhotra has termed the development as ray of hope for him in fighting the legal battle against former Haryana DGP SPS Rathore.
Upbeat over the development, Girhotra stated that he is now hopeful of getting justice and sure that closure reports filed by CBI in their cases is not the end of matter.

Madhu Prakash, mother of Ruchika's friend Aradhana, on whose efforts Rathore was convicted for molestation, stated that with the Ghaziabad court's gesture in Aarushi's case, they are hopeful that the molester cop may not find it easy to get away with the charges. Slamming the CBI probs in both the cases, Madhu recounted how the agency had reached a conclusion without arresting the main accused, Rathore.
Besides, it had also distorted the statements of key witnesses - Vijay Dheer and Dr Naresh Mittal. On November 10 last year, CBI had filed closure reports in two cases - attempt to murder and tampering with evidence against Rathore registered on complaints by Girhotra and his son Ashu. However, instead of accepting the same, special CBI judge Abdul Majid had issued notice to the complainants.
In their closure reports, CBI contended that no offence is made out against Rathore. However, Girhotra has been alleging that CBI tried to save Rathore in its investigations as it had not accepted the statements of two key witnesses and distorted their statements.
