Kurukshetra: Three unidentified men threw
chilli powder and looted
Rs 5 Lakh from
bank employees in Kurukshetra
on Thursday afternoon.
The incident happened around 3:30pm when
HDFC bank employees
of Jhansa road branch along with security were travelling in a car to transfer an amount of Rs 5,00,081 to Dhurala branch. Three people on bike stopped the bank vehicle, showed them pistol, threw chilli powder into their eyes and looted the amount. The distance between the
Jhansa road branch and Dhurala branch of HDFC
bank is approximately 13km and the loot happened midway.

told media-persons, “We have created blockades in the city and nearby areas and have checked the vehicle from which loot has happened. We will soon be able to nab the robbers.”
