CHANDIGARH: Congress leaders continued to be anxious ahead of Rahul Gandhi’s virtual rally in Ludhiana on Sunday to announce the chief ministerial face of the party for the Punjab Assembly elections.

Party leaders said Rahul will address the rally digitally at 2pm and it will be telecast in all 117 Assembly constituencies in the state through LED screens being put up by the party candidates.

The Punjab Congress tweeted a video on Saturday to say that the wait was over, giving the date and time of February 6, 2pm for the announcement. “Countdown begins,” says the video with a picture of Rahul with
