CHANDIGARH: Ahead of the upcoming academic session, student organizations have started activating their sources and appointing their party heads to revive the party working for elections. One of the fronts of PUSU on Friday appointed its party chairman to start with the working in the campus.
In a general body meeting held at Student Centre under the leadership of PUSU president Sukhjit Singh Brar, the party members decided to appoint Dhrupinder Singh as the party chairman.
Brar informed that the post of party chairman was lying vacant after the whole executive was dissolved three months back.
Dhrupinder Singh, a student of public administration, said, ‘‘We have started planning for the elections to register a win and are in the process of building a strong unit of members to strengthen our base,” he said.
