Rami Randhawa, Prince Randhawa, and Mangat had been threatening each other over a petty issue for the past few days. Both the parties took it to social media and decided to gather at Purab Premium Apartments on September 11 from where Mangat was arrested.
He was booked under sections 295A and 120B of the Indian Penal Code at the Sohana police station. As Randhawa brothers could be seen uploading videos on social media after being released on bail, the police are on toes to nab them again.
SHO, Sohana, Inspector Rajesh Hastir said “Investigations are on to nab the Randhawa brothers. Our force is deployed at the Purab Premium Apartments and PCR patrolling is in full swing. Another singer, Vadda Grewal, who is a close aide of Mangat is on our top list as he was more proactive in the videos.”
On September 10, the trio was booked under sections 294, 504 and 506 of the IPC and Section 67 of the Information Technology Act, 2000.
The singers have been taunting and threatening each other on social media for a while. While Randhawa brothers accused Mangat of singing vulgar songs and told him not to do that, the latter had responded in kind telling he would thrash them. The singers had posted threatening videos on their accounts and decided to have a freestyle fight.
