BATHINDA: Hours after his release from Muktsar jail, farmer forum Kisan Mazdoor Morcha leader Sarvan Singh Pandher accused both central and Punjab government of joining hands in demolishing the protest sites.
He accused the Bhagwant Mann led Punjab government of conspiring with central government to torpedo the protests while terming the central government of acting like invader Ahmad Shah Abdali and Punjab government acting like Zakaria Khan, known for persecution of Sikhs.
Speaking to media persons at Bahadurgarh commando complex near Patiala, Pandher said that Bhagwant Mann government was speaking up that the farmer protests are against central government then what happened on the evening of March 19 that Punjab government attacked the farmers when we were returning from a meeting with central and Punjab ministers, whether he wanted to save central ministers or there was fear of enforcement directorate, questioned Pandher pointing towards Punjab government.
He continued it seems Bhagwant Mann government conspired with MP Modi and HM Amit Shah in targeting farmers and both governments were together in demolishing protest sites.
He said the morchas will continue in any shape and the action plans given earlier including protests at the residences of ministers and AAP MLAs on March 31 will be taken out as planned and first it seems that the fight will be undertaken against Zakaria Khan.
Pandher stated earlier the orders used to come from Abdali now it is coming from corporates and from Washington which could never be in the favour of farms and farming. We must fight it out and for it we seriously need unity between warring forums as we had been for unity for a long time.
To a query about state of jails, Pandher that we saw in jail that drugs are freely available in Patiala jail and the action plan of Punjab government named as ‘Yudh Nashia Virudh’ seems fake and even mobiles are being used. We call upon Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann to accompany us in jail to see all this.
