CHANDIGARH: Punjab Congress president Amrinder Singh Raja Warring took a jibe at Aam Aadmi Party supremo Arvind Kejriwal for promising to give Rs 1,000 each to all women above 18 years of age in Gujarat.
He urged people of Gujarat to verify and cross-check everything in Punjab before they get carried away by fake and bogus promises of AAP.
Responding to Delhi chief minister Kejriwal’s promise made in Gujarat, Warring said, “I have learnt from the media reports that Arvind Kejriwal is making promises to women over 18 years in Gujarat the promises he made to Punjabi women, that if the Aam Aadmi Party forms government in Gujarat, it will give Rs 1,000 to each of them.”
“I want to ask Kejriwal that before making a promise to Gujarati women is it not his moral responsibility to fulfil this promise first in Punjab,” he said.

Whether it was free electricity or Rs 1,000 monthly stipend to women, AAP had backed out on everything, he added.
“Please do not get carried away by the full page advertisements in newspapers and hours of airtime on news channels as everything is purchased with the Punjabi taxpayers’ money,” he told the people of Gujarat, while warning them, “the Punjabis are feeling cheated and looted now, you may feel the same way if you start believing him as Punjabis believed him earlier to their utmost regret and dismay now”.
