PU, PEC observe int’l day against drug abuse
Chandigarh: Panjab University and Punjab Engineering College observed international day against drug abuse and illicit trafficking on the theme “People first: stop stigma and discrimination, strengthen prevention” on Monday. PU’s department of life long learning & extension organized a pledge taking event led by Dr. P.S. Kang, chairperson of the department, and Prof. Prabha Vig, with active participation from students, research scholars, staff, and faculty members. Approximately 20 participants attended the pledge ceremony, which was followed by a lecture delivered by Dr. Kang. tnn
