CHANDIGARH: Youngsters eagerly waiting after their Class X result to choose the stream of their interest can now go ahead as the process of
admission to Class XI has begun in CBSE-affiliated government senior secondary schools of the city.
Cost of the prospectus, which includes the registration form, is Rs 130.
Registration form can also be filled online after downloading it from the website www.chdeducation.gov.in.
It can be deposited in any of the six schools (mentioned in the box). Last yeara??s cut-off list of all schools is also available on the website.
Students can choose the following streams: humanities, commerce, medical, laboratory technology, health and beauty studies, x-rays techniques, stenography and computer application (English), stenography and computer application (Hindi), marketing and salesmanship, accountancy and taxation, financial market management, electrical technology, electronics technology, food and beverage service, food production, bakery and confectionery, travel and tourism, fashion designing and garment technology, textile design, dyeing and printing, automobiles technology, air-conditioning and refrigeration technology, information technology application, banking and insurance.
