President’s Police Medal for 2 UT cops

The deputy superintendent of police, DSP Sita Devi, and subinspector, SI Jaginder Singh, will be awarded the President's Police Medal for distinguished and meritorious services on Republic Day. Twenty-one police officers, including two DSPs, will be given the Administrator's Police Medal. These include Dilsher Singh, assistant commandant, IRB Harjit Kaur, DSP Traffic Rajiv Kumar, inspector, crime branch, Usha Rani Sho, women police station, Gyan Singh, and Harbans Singh, both inspectors.

Chandigarh: Deputy superintendent of police (DSP) Sita Devi and sub-inspector (S-I) Joginder Singh would be conferred with the President’s Police Medal for distinguished and meritorious services on Republic Day. DSP Sita is posted at the woman and child support unit, while Joginder at training centre, police lines, Sector 26. Twenty-one cops, including two DSPs, would be given the Administrator’s Police Medal.
