MOHALI: Two alleged terrorists of Babbar Khalsa International (BKI) arrested by Mohali police were produced in the court on Sunday.
The magistrate sent them to two-day police remand till March 23. After busting a terror module from Zirakpur, district police has now decided to enhance security arrangements for four IPL matches to be held at PCA stadium on March 24 and 25, April 4 and 9.

Cops have not ruled out the possibility of the arrested accused planning to disrupt match proceedings in Mohali. Sources said now, during matches, three-tier security would be provided, that would include deployment of quick reactions team in and around the stadium.
SSP Mohali GS Bhullar said the accused Daljit Kumar alias Deepak Kumar and Purshotam Singh, who were arrested on March 19, have been sent to further remand as more revelations are expected.
He said adequate security measures have already been taken and police are vigilant towards ensuring peaceful conduct of IPL matches.
