The PM will also lay the foundation stone of a rail coach refurbishing and rehabilitation factory in Barhi, Sonipat.

Sources said Modi is expected to reach Rohtak at 1pm. He will be received by Union ministers Krishan Pal Gujjar and Piyush Goel besides Haryana CM Manohar Lal Khattar. The functions will be attended by Satyadeo Narain Arya, Acharya Devvrat and Satya Pal Malik, the governors of Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir, respectively.

“On the occasion, the Prime Minister will visit the museum based on Sir Chhotu Ram's life, where scenes recreated from his life and items belonging to the farmer leader would be put on display," Banwari Lal said.

Notably, the BJP ministers, MLAs and district and state-level leaders of the party made last-minute efforts to ensure sizeable crowd gathers during the rally.

The party high command is also concerned as they had announced to make this rally bigger than that of the event organized by INLD in Gohana on Sunday.

After reviewing the arrangements, CM Khattar on Monday said besides laying the foundation stone of rail coach factory, the PM is likely to make major announcements for the state.

Meanwhile, tight security arrangements have been put in place in Rohtak in view of the PM’s visit.
