Panchkula: Panchkula mayor Kulbhushan Goyal along with MC commissioner Sachin Gupta, councillors and concerned MC officials visited seasonal nullahs crossing through various sectors of the city and sought details about plans to beautify them. After finding horticulture waste dumped in the nullahs, the MC Commissioner warned the employees of issuing notice and termination. The team also inspected road gullies and beautification work in the city.
After their visit, the mayor and MC Commissioner found the nullahs in bad shape and they instructed the officials to clean them up so that dengue and malaria mosquitoes don’t breed there.
The mayor said “I have directed the concerned officials to make sure that stagnant water is not seen anywherein the city.”
