Pkl drive to remove illegal towers, boosters

Panchkula: The city Municipal Corporation (MC) on Tuesday conducted a drive to remove mobile towers and boosters installed without permission. The MC team reached various sectors of Panchkula along with the enforcement team under the leadership of SDO Manoj Ahlawat. During the drive, the MC team removed a booster installed by a firm in Sector-11, and sealed another such device in Sector-15. Moreover, the tower of a telecom firm was also sealed. SDO Manoj Ahlawat informed that the team has taken action on the instructions of MC Commissioner Sachin Gupta, and warned companies against installing boosters and towers without permission. MC commissioner Sachin Gupta added that the drill will continue in various sectors. “Any company that has installed boosters or towers without permission should remove them,” he said.
